TripShake Magazine mission

TripShake Magazine is a network of blogs, each of them focusing on a specific travel style. The blogs share a common passionate and curious attitude to travel, gathering short and dynamic tips written by experts.

What we need to start

To start blogging for TripShake Magazine, we need you to send us:

  • Your TripShake username (if you are not registered yet, go for it)
  • Google AdSense pub and ad slot codes (see the “AdSense” paragraph)
  • Short bio and photo (see the “Profile page” paragraph)

Profile page

On TripShake Magazine, you will have a special profile page, with a short bio and a picture of you (at least 200×200 pixel). Remember to upload your bio and photo on your Wordpress account page.

This page will serve as archive of the post you wrote and as your expert profile, in addition to the one you created on TripShake. It is useful to tell readers who you are and why you’re an expert, what experiences have you lived/are you living that you’re willing to share with them. Keep it short, though (around 50-100 words will do). A link to your blog or website will be displayed on this page, as well.

This profile will be linked from any post you write, so think it over carefully!

Frequency

There’s no minimum commitment related to posting frequency, anyways it’s important to keep a regular pace so that we can schedule the posts in. Ideally, we would love to have one post per week per blogger.

AdSense

If you have an AdSense account, and you know how to use it, here’s what you should do:

  • Create two 300×250 ad slots: one “Image only”, and one “Text only”. Copy and paste the invocation code you get, and send it to us.
  • Create one 468×60 ad slot: we suggest you use “Image only” for this, because it will be placed under a lot of text. Copy and paste the invocation code you get, and send it to us.

If you don’t have an AdSense account, or you need help with creating the ads, drop us a line. We can schedule a Skype/MSN chat and help you out with the process.

Revenue sharing

Our revenue sharing model is pretty straightforward: you get 100% of the revenues generated from your posts’ pages.

We’ll automatically add your own Google AdSense code on the pages displaying your content, in order to guarantee full accountability and transparency. The revenues will be automatically credited on your Google account and paid by Google directly.
